But life at Grandma's isn't all it's cracked up to be. Nikki's grandmother is a bit of a character herself, and she has her own set of rules. Nikki quickly realizes that she's not going to get away from her mom's craziness so easily.

Enter Cheryl, Nikki's grandmother's best friend. Cheryl is a free-spirited artist who loves to drive Nikki around in her convertible. Cheryl is everything that Nikki's mom is not: fun, carefree, and always up for a good laugh.

As Nikki spends more time with Cheryl, she begins to see her mom in a new light. She realizes that her mom is not as bad as she thought. In fact, she's actually pretty great.

But just when Nikki is starting to appreciate her mom, she gets some unexpected news. Cheryl is moving away. Nikki is devastated. She doesn't want to lose her new best friend.

Nikki and Cheryl come up with a plan to make the most of their last week together. They go on a road trip, eat junk food, and talk about everything under the sun. Nikki learns a lot about Cheryl, and she also learns a lot about herself.

By the end of the week, Nikki is a changed person. She has a new appreciation for her mom, and she has a new best friend in Cheryl. She also has a new perspective on life. She realizes that it's not always easy, but it's always worth it.

Get Out of My Life But First Could You Drive Me Cheryl to the Mall is a hilarious and heartwarming novel about the unbreakable bond between mothers and daughters. It's a story about love, laughter, and the importance of family.
